Car is acting funny after headgasketchange. Red manifold and turbo. no power *SORTED*
Hi.
I changed the headgasket on my sierra, and when I tried to drive it up our parkinglot it would bearly move. Had to rev it like hell and use the clutch plenty.
When I drove it to work, thinking it was just symptoms of cold plugs and cold engine, it held back and wouldn't rev. Could hardly come over 3500rpm, and when I came home the manifold and turbo glowed bright red.
It also pops and bangs when I use enginebrake
I have checked almost everything I can think of, but can the cam be 180degrees wrong, and even be perfect idle ?
It's a 2.0L Pinto is-engine
All help is highly welcome

check all the timeing marks are in the right on the timing belt easy to get to if i rember rightly. and also get your self a timing light. but you shouldent have tutched the dissy doing the head gasket so more likley to be the belt side of things.
