hello I have a problem with my tdc sensor bracket.
I have a new engine and i used the pully's from my old engine.
the mounting place is to close to the crank pully. so the tdc sensor won't fit
i don't want to swap de old sump , cos i have to get the engine out again.

is there a other solution.

The only thing you can do is to space the sensor from the bracket to get the correct clearance.....

I have had to do this once in the past as an emergency measure and i made up some spacers in the lathe to move the sensor away from the bracket.

 

The easy way is just get some longer bolts and some nuts that are slightly bigger so they fit over the bolt and space away.
I therefore assume there are different size pulleys on the 4wd ?

It had a 2WD belt setup but the wish is to use the multi flat belt and yes the 2wd crank pulley is smaller than the 4wd one !!!
