ford focus not running right
hi guys.
right this hard to tell you right lets think we are going down the road in my car lol..say we are sitting the speed at 60 or 70 mph.the car starts to feel like it is holding back, because there is a hunting of lack of power thing going on.i have checked for air leaks, fuel filter, plugs, leads, oil, air filter all have been changed..this does not always happen..like the other week i went to the lakes covered 200miles and it only did it 2 times..but most of the times its on every day, each time it does this the car does not cut out, just a small drop of power, like not enough fuel.but the car has been checked out everything is fine..dam .i have also found away to make happen every time, after you have pulled away from standing start, say we are in 3rd gear slow press the throttle down "slowly" the car starts to hold back, even after changing up a gear it will do it again in 4th the 5th.it can be droving through this. has it only lasts sec's
HOPE THIS MAKES SENCE

Experienced something similar once - it turned out to be the cat - it had broken loose and sometimes blocked the exhaust. Eventually found it when it became a permanent fault and couldn't go faster than 60.
