Need help on buying new exhaust for Mondeo Zetec S V6
Hi,
My car’s been a bit jumpy and low on power recently but my local garage have struggled to diagnose the fault.
I asked them if they think it could be misfiring but they insisted that this would throw up an error code on the ECU so after it went back a couple more times I decided to take it elsewhere and straight away they said it was in fact misfiring
Unfortunately though, this has incinerated the cats and the bits have blocked the exhaust so the whole lot needs replacing!
I’m not exactly loaded at the moment so I’m wondering if anyone could give me some advice on a cheap sports exhaust and how many cats I really need to pass the MOT as I think 2 pre cats and 1 main cat is a bit of overkill really?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
