when the car comes on boost it holds 10psi..as it passes 4000rpm, boost starts to rise with engine revs topping 20psi @ 5500rpm where the ECU cut kicks in

so what you saying is it hold 10 psi until 4000rpm, then rises to 20psi until the rev limiter at 5500rpm?

 

Too weak actuator I'll guess

 

not sure as i wouldnt have thought a weak actuator would make 20psi, especially rising to 20psi as well; weak actuators normally result in a bit of boost then tailing off dramatically

 

its a 2.1, fresh build

T3/4 with a focus RS act' Ive not set the actuator yet as ive only just got a decent set of hoses on, kept poppin my others off, but id expect a weak actuator to leak boost not increase it..??

Im not worried about it, as i said ive not set it proper yet..jus thought it was a wierd thing to happen..
