Default cossie rods question :)

Are 3door conrods the same as the later types? Im going for a 400 HP build and want the best possible ones i know the 3door is prone to the piston slap but is this due to rods or pin design?

one of mine is fubar and have been offered a brand new 3door set for good money, less than it would cost to repair mine!

Thanks for the help chaps

piston slap is to do with the gudgeon pin in the piston being staight Chop. 4x4 pistons use an offset one.

Rods are the same
