Default White Sludge

Hi all I have a prob i hope someone can advise me on. I havs an xr3i cab which runs fine, always starts idles fine. The car doesnt get driven that much but whenever I take out the dip stick its covered in white sludge. Now 1st thing that springs to mind is head gasket???? However I am not losing oil, not losing water no sludge in top half of engine and after a few cleans of the dipstick it is all clear. Would this be that there maybe a little sludge in the bottom of the engine or m I looking at something more serious.
Any advice much appreciated

Simon

probably just condensation due to not being used very much.

give it a change and keep an eye on it. If it dont get worse dont worry about it

give ur engine a flush matey. pop into a store and pick up a can of engine flush and then take the sump off and clean it ouit so u r sure it is clean. IOf the sludge blocks the oil pump pickup tube then say goodbye to those bearings!

Had a Pug GTI with a similar problem. Turned out to be a split breather pipe letting moisture in and contaminating the oil. Changed the pipe flushed the engine and it never happened again. Worth a good check round all the pipes and while they are off give them a good clean out, to help with the breathing.
