a mate of mine has been told that he can put a 2 litre zetec engine in a mark 4 escort efi.and all he needs is a plate(which u can buy)that allows u to use the standard cvh inlet manifold on it.does any1 know anything about this please?

 

Yes it's possible to do it that way. It's easy, but the port shapes don't really match at all. Only the port spacing matches, so they'll be all equal at least.

 

you can just use the zetec inlet manifold. if not give me a shout as i do the plate your after . thanks

 

but if he used the zetec inlet manifold would have to change any of the wiring loom or management?

 

any ideas???
