Default Breather Pipe To Sump

I have a s2 which has had a different Bailey Breather Pot made for it..

This one has 3 ports on the bottom, ones just a breather, one goes to back of the block and the other wants to go into the sump..

Mine has a ZVH conversion and i`ve taken off the sump today so i can have a fitting welded in.. My question is does the fitting want to sit below oil level or above it..

The Turbo oil return pipe at the front sits above the oil level, but i hae been told that te return pipe from breather needs to sit below oil level cause of crank pressure, is this true..
