Default Fault with Racing Puma

Friend of mine has just purchased a racing puma and it has recorded a fault code in the ecu
P0320 engine speed signal malfunction can anyone shed any light on this ?
He has already had crank and cam sensors fitted and as far as im aware ecu has been tested
engine has irratic idle and intermittently misses on idle if the idle is above 2000 rpm or under normal driving conditions above 2000rpm there are no noticeable running faults.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards Doug.

Idle Control Valve? Sits on top of the inlet manifold top right on a Farpy. Maybe the MAF as well?
