Default rs2000 4x4 loom

I have an rs2000 4x4 with a pretty much knackered engine loom

i think (not that i have spent much time looking) that the engine loom is similar to a zetec engine loom and has a multiblock connection, and the loom basically connects to the injectors, the coil packs and the temp sensors, maybe a few others. I think its separate from the rest of the car loom.

basically the insulation around the coil pack wires and a few others that go to the edis module has gone hard an brittle and cracked off. I dont really want to get a second hand loom as it will be much the same as the one i have.

I understand there is a fella on PF that makes looms from scratch, and wondered if he could make me an engine loom for my car and if so then how much?!

im on a tight budget, so if its running into hundreds, then i appreciate they cost canalot but i cant really afford to spend that much on it right now and it will have to stay in the garage for a bit.

i am a mechanic and have managed to temporarily repair it so it drives properly, but this will not last really. The loom is not just going brittle, it turns out one of the previous owners decided that twisting and tapeing to repair edis wires and various other wires inteh engine bay was acceptable and 4 months down the line these 'repairs' are starting to show themselves one by one!

if someone can build looms then please let me know

cheers
