mornin all, thought the gti was dead,thought rong!when it started smokin like the red arrows comin home i just left it on me driveway, had a look at it later on that nite with a mate and it was gearoil,so i decided to put it over my pit and drop the gearbox out to have a butchers, clutchbolt had come out,dont no how long it had bin out as there wasnt any noise what so ever when it was running,there is now a inch and a half crater in the bell housing! got another gearbox and clutch, goin to fit it ta nite, would this have caused the reving problem as the sensor mite have picked up the clutchbolt????????! ile let ya no when ive sorted it
