Default series2 valve guides

hi all
to some it might sound stupid but how easy is it to change the valve guides on a series2 mfi head please
would love to have some advise on this as wish todo the work myself as i find the cvh very easy to work on and wish progress my skills a bit further but at the same time dont want to arse it up
i work by the manual but cant seem to get the answer in the old haynes manual

In theory it is just a case of whacking them out, whacking new ones in with a hammer and very good fitting implement in the guide itself.
On an alloy head I don't think for the cost I would to be honest, I used to do this with my minis but were steel heads.
The only thing needed to get right is the height so measure first!!

changing guides is easy! the problem comes when the valves don't seat properly anymore
