Default ICE PROBLEM

hi i had my head unit out and wen i put it bak in, ive started gettin interference like wen u turn the volume from 0 - 1 or press a button ,the sub will do a sharpe bang and so will the speakers! any ideas? ive checked all the wires n there r no bare ones or anythin, does it wen engine is on or off, it aint the interferin all the time ,jus wen i press a button or volume it lets out a pop from the speakers

HELP!!!!!!

na cos its comin through speakers, and i un connected all the amp wires and it still does it, i dunno y its suddenly started

hi, i think you will find that there is a wire loose or a bad earth connection. this popping through the speakers is caused by a potential being held up and then being allowed to flow. the resulting current flow is usually vented through your speakers (the last outlet if you like) it is like putting your foot on a hose pipe, then releasing...you know the effect. i would suspect the earth side personally, but it could be the live side. you may have disturbed something other the the wires you removed, something in the dash, or the earth return on the chassis inside the dash...

i would follow the cables around as far as poss and see, you may see something obious, costs nothing either...

i already did that, had most the dash off and hav checked all wires, hav changed the head unit earth and the live, could it be a loose wire like behind the door card goin onto the speaker?

i put me mates head unit in my car today and it works fine so think ive fried sumthin in mine
