First, I´m Luiz Felipe, from Brazil, I´m modding a Mondeo MK1 for track-day using;


I recently bought a 2.0L 16v DURATEC engine;




The problem is that the zetec MTX gearbox doesn´t fit the Duratec engine, so I thought buying the Mondeo MK3 (it uses the duratec engine) MTX gearbox "cover" (only the metal that envolves the hole unit with the gears inside), and put my gears inside of it. Do you think It would work?


I´m sorry about the english, it´s been a long time since I dont practice it...
