kent CVH34 cam
have got a kent cvh34 cam in my rst engine, on an adjustable pulley, problem im having is that it seems very very flat untill it comes on boost, it just hasnt got much bottom end go in it.
its got 0.5mm oversized pistons, ported polished head, beige's, cos fuel pump, pace charge cooler, 195 chip with ahmed bayjoo map, standard t3, this cam, and various other bits and pieces.
when its higher up in the revs its fine, and max torque is 232lb/ft at 12psi, but untill it comes on boost at 2800rpm its only making just over 50lb/ft of torque.
could this be purely down to the cam? or something else?

20K+ Super Poster.
The cam timing could be massively retarded, but this needs mapping not a off the shelf chip due to mods, most likely super lean, so off to the rollers is best.

thanks for the reply.
the pulley was setup on the rollers the end of january, before that it was just on a standard pulley, and to be fair the adjustable 1 didnt seem to make much difference after it had been setup.
its a 195 superchip on it, it was mapped by ahmed bayjoo a while ago now when there was a standard pulley on it, but still with the same cam.
tried a standard pulley on it again just to see what happened, it drove exactly the same as with the adjustable 1 on it, only difference was that with the standard pulley back on the idle was up and down a lot, it wasnt constant.
