Cossie Mis-fires - Common causes ?
Got a couple of problems with misfires on my 3 door.
at 3000rpm it misses but you can rev through it and it picks up like a train and then at 4500rpm its missing again.
Not a harsh misfire just hesitation and again you can rev through it.
Its had plugs recently and all new engine sensors in the last 3000 miles.
My intial thoughts are Cap & Rotor as they were replaced recently with InterMotor items, are these any good ?
Also the Coil is the only thing that hasnt been changed on the car.
Only other thoughts are leads as they look like the original Ford leads and earth points.
Do different misfires have particular causes ?
