Default Help needed with series 1 clutch release arm

Hi, i just put a new ap racing clutch in my series one box and had to get a new clutch release arm fitted but you can no longer buy this part from Ford, so i got a new bit of bar for the release bearing fork in the bell housing and now just need to no what position to weld the lever where the clutch cable pulls on. could someone help me out and maybe measure the distance between the bit of metal that the cable goes through on the top of the box and the release arm, with the cable connected and without??? Really need to get this right, i dont want to be paying 300 squid for a new clutch anytime soon!
Much help needed.

Thanks
Kim H
