easiest to put in a zetec,
for a 1.8 pre pats loom and ecu, i believe its the same for 2l,you need to splice/connect the following wires:

black/green = ignition live

black = 4amp ignition live (make sure you do add a fuse to this, is something does go wrong it will fry everything)

brown/green = water temp gauge

red = 4amp perminant live

green = revcounter

the rest of the loom and ecu are part of the engine and controlled thru the ecu so you dont need to splice any more wires into your cars current loom.

for the engine mount you will have to cut off the lower lug on the mount and weld on an extra bit of plate and drill a hole though it as only 2 of the holes line up otherwise.
for 2l conversion you need to swap these parts from a 1.8
sump, oil pump, oil pick up pipe, water pump and i think thats it but have had a long day so there may have been something that ive missed. oh and use a cvh oil filter with either engines as its shorter.
