mk6 rs2000

does any one know if the mark 6 came with drums on as im looking at one that checks out ok with the dvla but it has drums on the back

yes they did, all the ABS models had drums on the mk6 2000

yes as said above but they are a lot bigger than normal escort drums.the bearings are the same etc ive heard they are transit van drums put on for better breaking

Yes all 2wd had rear drums, but the braking was better as it had a much improved abs system.

There are some, first early batchs of mk6 2wd rs2000 had discs.
