mondeo 4x4

can anyone please help is the rear diff of a 4x4 mondeo the same as a 4x4 mk6 escort rs2000.

The actual diff casing is listed as the same, but the assembly is listed as different. Probably uses a different ratio.

No - I don't think it is. I believe the group at rs2000-16v.com have looked into this in detail and confirmed that the Mondeo transfer box cannot be used on the Escort.

I'm using all mondeo running gear as in gearbox transferebox and diff on a mk6 escort so was woundering if the mondeo diff will physically fit in the rs2000 4x4 rear beam.as mentioned above if the diff casing is the same them am i correct in thinking that it will fit. How about the rear hubs and drive shafts are they the same. Thanks for your help.
