Default Steering judder under breaking.

I was missing the caliper/pad retaining clip, and thought it would be this, but when fitted it made no difference. Its Cossie breaks on my S2, is it likely to be warped discs, or are there other reasons for this?

4 pots or single pots?

Most likely to be warped discs - it's a feature that Ford didn't put in the sales brochure

Or bushes.

Is it speed related ?

More speed more judder or will it do it the same at low speeds too ?

Not sure about 2pot or 4pot, all i know is they are standard cossie ones, possibly 2wd discs and 4x4 calipers. It does it at all speeds, but is much more violent at higher speeds, i.e. coming off the motorway etc.

The most common conversion is 2wd discs with 4wd calipers.
As said very common to be warped, I just change my discs every other year with new pads.

I haven't touched them since I had the car apart from fitting the new retaining clip to the front passenger caliper
