Default blown cossie engine

hey guys, just need sum advice on my 2wd cossie sump. iv got the engine in a mk1 escort and for sum reason it has been starved ov oil and obviously the bottom end has let go, so its rebuild time, so without going drysump as thats 2 expensive, how do i stoip oil surge, i no it will proberly need baffeling but can this be done with the sump already cut down on an angle due 2 the crossmember in the mk1. aprritiate any imput

Baffling will stop the problem, but would also be best to go big wing for extra capacity.
The yb sumps don't hold a lot to start with and the oil has a lot of work to do cooling the engine, a oil to air cooler would be wise as well.
