My fez has been off the road since beginning of sept cos i blew up the gearbox. i fitted a new 1 2day and after checking everything over i connected the battery and turn the key to crank over the engine (i discconted the coilpack to stop it starting) to get some oil presure in it and the fuel pumped prime up as normal.
then.......... i connected the coilpack to run the engine and when i went to start it ther pump didnt prime up, ive checked all the fuses in the fuse box and they all seem fine. havent got a clue what why it isnt priming as everything seems ok. i havent been anywhere near the fuel tank or any of its wiring when putting in the box, the only wires i disturbed around the battery and the starter motor
any idea?? was looking forward to finishing the car today but now im fucked off


its a fiesta rs turbo with a zetec turbo engine btw

 

you dont have the same feed to the coil as you do the fuel pump do you?
