escort cozzie lamber sencor
I have a 1992 escort cozzie,and i am re-connecting the lamber sencor back on but the scoket on the loom of the car has been cut off. Can anyone tell me which way the colours go. On the loom of the car,there is a black and white wire + a green and black wire + a brown wire. On lamber sencor there is a red wire,a black wire and a white wire. So if anybody knows if i need a lamber sencor, new or secondhand where can i get one from? Thanks to everyone for there answers from my other question. Regards.
The LAMBDA is a TITANIA SENSOR, wire colours as follows,
RED = HEATER +/ref (in) for signal
BLACK = SIGNAL(output to ecu)
WHITE = HEATER -
Car Loom,
BROWN = -
The other two I am not sure of but just probe with a digi metre, and one will be a refference signal output from the ecu, most likely the black/white as, anything black on fords is normally switched live, so this goes to the RED of the sensor, the remaining wire GREEN/BLACK is the signal return, so goes to the BLACK of the sensor.
You will only have one output from ecu so probing will find this.
