Default Crank position sensor

Hi, i have just had my crank pulley changed and i was wondering if there is a set distance between the pulley and the sensor. Is it that sensitive that you need a set gap? thanks

As said 0.6mm to 1.0mm.
BUT check it on ALL FOUR LUGS, as one may be a little damaged and if set to close for the others could get hit,
They will operate way over gapped or under gapped, as it only needs to disturb electric field.
