The wiring is a doddle to carry out DIY, as can use interior light feed.
The motor will need to come off a granada(mk3) or scorpio as the sierra ones that were electric to start with have a different number of splines so motor won't fit, unless you wanted to change whole sunroff cassete case over, the electric switch panel bit from sierra fits, but the reinforcing bracket holding the panel is the hard bit to get, but could always make one.

If you pull off the bracket bit that holds the timer and solder wires on there is enough space to hide them around the rear of the armresty bit underneath as that is where I put my 4 for the windows.

Don't use the interior light wiring to feed the sun roof. Its only designed to carry enough amps for a light - not an electric sunroof motor. If you run that many amps through it it could melt.

The best bet is to run a new wire up from the electric window circuit which is deisgned to take a similar load.

MarkN is 100% correct on that, Never use the light circuit as it cannot handle the large amps drawn from the motor.
