basicaly ive got a mk3 xr2i fiesta...8v it was rebuilt 2 years ago buy specialist engines...but lay around for 6 months once it was put back in it didnt run proper idleing etc, it turns out the ecu had had it..then the head gasket went now the bottom ends gone!!!!!basically i want rid of the engine and need to put something in with a bit of grunt....i know wot engines can go in but i dont know who can do it??
if anyone knows of someone who could a engine transplant(2 litre zetec, or maybe 1800...)please could you let me know

2 ltr ZETEC woudl be your best bet.

DIY. Lots of info on the net and not complex really. Just use common sense.

 

hi i am not a company but am a fitter by trade i have a turbo running pack 185+ c0mpleatly rebuilt new internals in block and head new t3/hybrid used front mounted cooler lsd box -31 actuator plus more [frst with crank sensor] a rs 1800 running pack 143bhp and could fit either for you im in farnboro area the rs1800 package is still in the carso can be drove very quick and fun regards owl
