How can I recognise an uprated valve spring i heard that if they have paint marks on them then they are uprated is this true. I ask as i have removed a set of kent cams from a zetec head and wanted to no if the valve springs are uprated or not.

Any paint that may have been applied by the maers will soon come off.
The cam will determine if you even need uprated springs, most don't if only fast road, so contact cam maker 01303 248666
