Any idea how much labour i'm looking at to have the cambelt and the aux belt done on my 1.25 2001 fiesta?
I've given it a full service and now want the belts doing as the aux ones looks poor, so i imagine the camblets in similarly bad nick

howmany tensioners / idlers are there on the SE?
any idea how muc hte cambelt kit will cost

any nuggets of help greatly apreciated

 

timing belts are £25 for the 1.6SE so shouldn't be that different for the 1.25 and thats from ford. The Aux belt is elasticated so streches on. think there is two tensioners for the timing belt can't remember tho.

My mrs had an Rreg fiesta with the 1.25 16v engine in. A bloke i used to work with charged me 35 quid for fitting the belts. I bought the timing belt and tensioner and aux belt. For 35quid it wasnt worth me fookin on doing it myself.
