faulty 3bar you've put on? try a different one.....

Or put you old one back in to be 100% sure its that which is the problem.

what I meant was put your old one back on and see if you get a spark then....It could be a completely different problem un-related to the map sensor being changed.

So put the old map on car, check for spark....then you know 100% your not getting spark becasue you've changed map for different one.

does the fuel pump prime when you turn ignition on then switch off after lets say 5+ secs?

are you getting a ignition live to the coil (you can check this with a multi-meter)

is you Phase sensor connector plugged in or maybe faulty, check wiring and connectors, also do this for the CPS as well and is that gapped correctly, also check your 2 relays & fues on your ECU loom this may be faulty or blown?
If so the fuel pump won't prime and neither will the ECU fire up!

And lastly why where you gunning it if it was missing & spluttering this will cause damage driving it like that

So you changed the map sensor back to the one you had before and still no spark? If thats the case then it's not the map sensor thats faulty mate....It must be an unrelated issue causing the lack of spark.

As mentioned above...check the phase sensor in the dizzy as these fuck up after a while and make sure the crank sensor is gapped properly and working right.

Cheers
Dan

failed tdc sensor on the front bottom pulley, or its loose or the connector has got muck in it.

Hi Mate Does The Engine Turn Over Faster Than Usual? If So Could Be Worth Doing A Cylinder Compression Test.

check the basics first such as the dizzy cap & rotor arm. had it a couple of times on an old rst when launching it, the dizzy was slightly worn & it broke the locating peg off the rotor arm, started backfiring and then wouldn't run

i'll wager you a tea, white, no sugar on it being the tdc crank sensor - OR its connecter.
