Default replacing turbo t3 oil seals only

as above just need to get the oil seals replaced, is this a diy job as ive seen them on ebay or is it got to go in for repair? I live in glasgow area anyone know where to go with out getting robbed left right and centre?

Basically car is going perfect but just chuffs out smoke only when on high boost during a gearchange, not whilst under hard acceleration.

It may not even be the turbo, but I use the Turbocentre 01924 404112, ask for Andy or Craig.
They will be totally honest with you and not rip you off, but are snowed under with work.

Touch and go just replacing the seals. You can only really assess the damage once you have the turbo in pieces, and being as standard ones have wet floating bearings, once something starts to wear it can cause a lot of irrepairable damage.

You're probably best of getting an exchange unit as its not the easiest thing to do either.

The turbocentre is near LEEDS, but they arrange pick up and delivery so even easier, top lads too.
