Default 90' Escort (Heater Problem)

Hi guys picked up a 1990 Series 2 RS Turbo last week on the drive home I turned the heaters down as I was cooking.. turned them for some cold air now when I turn back to heat there is nothing warm coming out whatsoever.. the cold mornings are making things a touch frosty. I am thinking heater pipe of connector rod off somwhere???

As said sounds like the cable or clip on the end may have come off, most likely at heater box end.
