Default cosworth engine problem

i am thinking of buying a 4x4 cosworth but it has developed a problem a realy want the car and a was wondering if anyone on here knows what mightbe up with it the car isnt revivng properly and is reving like a 1.6 the guy says he has replaced most of the things it could be but to no avail does anyone on here know what is up with it

the best bet to save time and money is to get it booked into a specialist like MSD, a couple of hours in there and it'll be running right or at least you'll know what it needs to get it running right, just chaning parts until it runs right is false economy.

As said could be any number of things from your description, rolling road will most likely soon spot the problem, diagnosis by post is very hard with vague descriptions.
