Can an Omex Limiter damage your engine?
Anyone? Fitted one yesterday and already been warned by a few people. I figured its only unburnt fuel getting chucked out on the limit occasionally, so it cant be tooo bad?

its more dangerous than it not happening, but less dangerous than over revving and killing your engine, and in reality will do fuck all damage.
cossies, 205gtis, etc etc etc all have ign cut limiters like the omex is as standard, can bounce off em all day, it will do fuck all bad thats related to the unburnt fuel, unless your mega unlucky.

It's not good if you still have the catalyst, as unburned fuel will damage it.
If you don't you may still damage the exhaust valves and seats as well as the turbine with back firing.
But supercharged engines don't needs to be pushed to the limiter so it should not be a real problem

But the limit is only at 3.5k at the moment as i'm running the new head and cam in. Its a straight through system without a cat too if that helps.

I know, I've got one too but from another company using Omex technology (I forgot the name) I choose this one because he has a WOT gear change limiter feature.
But with the MT75 I don't want to use it
I'll get a R&D soon or late
