Hi guys,
new to the forum so hellooo
great site you have here.

i went to look at a s2 rst today and when i test drove it it jumps out of first gear if you try pulling off to harshly its ok if you let the clutch up slowly but not if you try giving it some.

the bloke had told me about this and said he thinks it may have somthing to do with the way he put the new clutch in said that it might not of been aligned properly.

does this sound right ?
if not any ideas ?

cant see it being the clutch mate, maybe the selecter

if the clutch wasnt lined up proply, the gearbox wudnt go on, simple as that. rs turbos eat gearboxes, looks like this is another one!!,

 

could be all the above and also an engine or g/box mount knackered or if your lucky the linkage!
