Default Crank Sensor

Hey guys, I'm using a crank sensor from an 1800 CVH along with the toothed crank pulley. How far does this sensor need to sit away from the teeth? I have it set about 3mm away but this is purely a guess.

Regards, Mudgey

As above, test it with a multimeter. With the engine spinning you shoudl see at least 0.5v. The faster it spins, the higher the voltage.
