i have a series 2 rs turbo and its nearly standard i have put a scorpion exhaust on and a k&n filter with a -31 actuator i put a boost gauge in to see what boost its running and it says 11 psi and its a standard ecu. just wondering if that boost is safe with the standard ecu with fueling and other things

surprised it dont cut the boost out at that level is it holdihg at 11psi?if so way to much for standard u sure it aint been chipped?

 

Was'nt this a stage 1 upgrade on the escort? I would have it checked and set up m8

 

it should boost shut off at about 10psi...so if yours is running 11psi it must be holding less unless it has been chipped...

standard is about 6/8psi..

 

its standard as i know becuse it has had one owner from new by an old boy and looked after by ford all its life £9000 worth of recipts on pats and labour
