erst diff bearing race sealant
putting new lsd diff bearings in the gearbox im rebuilding, one of the races for the back of the diff seems to spin in the box is there anything i can put on the back of it to stop it spinning

There are specific sealants for this, but if spinning in the housing with no load, surely it's not the problem ?
The sealants are called BEARING FIT, I think(?) Loctite do one 01442 278100
