I picked up a set of new front calipers and sliders for my 4x4 Saph Cos, but when changing them today i found the carrier/slider which attaches to the hub had different sized bolt holes??? The original ones on my car had 2x17mm bolts but the new ones i have look more like a 19mm bolt size,
does anybody know of a change between the early and late 4x4's or maybe if 2wd had bigger carrier bolts???

 

2wd are four pot and don't have sliders/carriers.

Cheers for that Tabetha, knew all others were four pots but unsure of there setup, no seen any!
Had a better look today and it looks like the holes in my hubs are threaded also and might accept the bigger bolt, so not sure if previous owner has changed brake type previously and used different type sliders!!!
Will need to pick up bigger bolts tomorrow and try that first!

 

will the old carrier not fit the new callipers?

 

i think you may have granda or mondeo items.

all 4wd are m10 bolts (17mm spanner)

 

they are mondeo v6 items
