jus wondering if anyone can help me ive just went and got a escort mk4 rs over the weekend and having trouble locating a few lil problems well i say lil

I HOPE lol got the car for 700 as i say that i bet a few minds r sayin somefinks gotta be up with it lol 66,000miles fsh i cant complain lol
ppl said to me need to invest in a s2 gearbox to cope with all the power but someone else who has drove it said its the gearlinkages :S its abit smokey first thing in the mornin but valve seals need doing thats happenin next week it should stop then if not then ............................HELP!! lol
if anyone can give me advice,tips,hints then would be grateful

about the gearbox i think its just got a standerd escort cab in at the mo infact i know it has today its just got to me thought bout selling it but sat down thought bout it n i ent givin in that easy! loll

and the power is unknow to me the guy who sold it me said his other rs had about 270 and that pulls like his he said about 240 250 but i reckon its got 200 mayb less

If your linkage is pooped, Jano does a modified Puma linkage that tightens things up

 

think its more than the linkage now to sad to even say it lol
