Having prob getting 2l 16v zetec turbo running. Have got rover 820 inlet. Sabb 2.3 turbo injectors red ones. Focus central pistons. Eagle rods. Stage 3 t3. 8.2.1 compression with cosmetic head gasket 1mm. And a uprated escort cossie fuel pump. All this in a j plate escort mk5 cab. Problem is it starts on button but will only run 4 15 seconds then cut out. But restarts straight away. If u touch throttle it cuts out as well. Please help lossing temper with it. Cheers.

 

Double check all the wiring. Have you calibrated the sensors to the ECU?

That could be an issue with the map or sensor calibration...

Are the injectors low impedance? IIRC Omex can only run high impedance injectors.

 

Injectors ok say omex and previous posts on here. No balas resisters needed. How u do this calibratiion stuff

 

Calibration depends on the ECU. It should say in the manuel from Omex.

Done that and they say it need a map done taliord 4 engine. Any one here do base maps or even running in maps. Am near heathrow a place called shepperton. Had a guy but he nightmear to get hold off.

 

make sure TPS raw value reads about 4 lower than actual value
eg, tps raw reads 30 then set tps min as 26.
This should give a throttle reading of 1 in parameters.
