i have just had my frst rebuilt about 700miles ago took my time ran it in.
The problem is when i start it blue smoke comes out alot after 10 mins clears up but still a little comes out it is also down on power also a bit rough.
I asked the garage that built it they says thevalve stem oil seals or a trapped valve.
Any ideas i thought if it were blue smoke it would be the turbo but it was bought from turbo technics in april hybrid kind cost £550 any ideas

see if u got any oil in the boost hoses

what would that mean new turbo cheers

possible if it got alot of oil on the pressure side of the turbo i.e pipes going from turbo to intercooler and to throttle body

hi if the smoke is blue check if the plugs are ok and check the boost pipes as mechanic28 said asit can only be your turbo and valves and oil in your boost pipes

how will i know if the plugs are bad cheers

they should be a nice light brownish colour
