Default turbo worries

500 miles ago i fitted a new turbo technics turbo i am running standard boost with no dump valve. when i got the turbo the actuator was faulty and the compressor housing was loose which was not a great start after 500 miles i took the inlet pipe of the turbo to have a look at it and there is some play in the turbo shaft should i be worried about this thanks rob

some play is perfectly fine.. However it it clips the housing when u spin it, or u can see that at some time it has scraped on the housing then i'd be a bit worried.. They do have a little bit f play in them.
My bran new universal turbos t34 had some play

they will alway have some play up and down due to the fact they r a floated bearing,when running the oil takes up the play
