RWD Sierra Saphire GEAR LINKAGE Problem
Hey peeps im new to this site
I've got a problem with my gear linkage ... i'm not sure what parts gone on it. When i'm putting it into and taking it out of gear the stick kind of jumps? and once i've managed to get it into gear it feels really loose like it could just slip out of gear.
what i'd like to know is what part has gone, so i can order another part to replace it.
Thanks people

hi m8 , below the stick in the selector housing is a spring and a ball bearing , sounds like youve got a prob with this mechanism , the spring pushes down on the ball and forces it against a gated plated which holds/ guides the stick , either the balls gone square or missing or the spring is broken and allowing the ball to jam the selection !

im sorting, I'm going to have to drop the box and replace the lot.
What f**ked it up was the ring which goes around the axle to stop vibration was gone, (forgive my terminnology for parts names ) so it shook the hole car up, at high speeds, and has mess the gear linkage all up
