Default Help!

Can anyone help?!

On my escort van '55' Y reg diesel, the fuel gauge has gone dodgy and never gives you a proper reading, when you fill the van up it says its empty and when its near empty it reads about half way.

Was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this?!

Cheers

yer using the mileage counter now but its just getting annoying.

Was wondering if its the sensor in the tank or what, if it can be cleaned or anything?!

Sounds like the senders fucked But try changing the gauge first as it alot easyer if that dont work it's tank out job to change the sender
