ive got a (like a tapping)noise everytime i press my acelerator and not to sure what it is.Some one told me that 2 of my tappets arnt oiled proply and to get some of that stuff you can buy to go into your oil but ive tryed that but the noise is still there....

so does anybody have a clue coz i dont know anything about engines

 

yep sounds like its your tappets but you dont say if it is an xr3i ect or wat size engine it is say its a xr3i go and by a new set of hydraulic uplifters there about 28 pound a set and leave them in a bucket of oil before you fit them straight forward to fit them just rocker cover get a haynes manual

 

its not an xr3i its just a standard 1300 twin webber thats all i know about it.

 

well they arnt hydraulic so you will have to get a feelar gauge out and get your haynes manual it will tell you the gap wat you wil need you never no they might just need tighting up a tad
