Custom perspex windows
Can curved windows be done easily without a mould to work from?
As mines fucking smashed, but want a replament asap.
"think" its only curved left to right, and not top to bottom too.
i know fuck all about this stuff, so may be obvious.
and who can? i take it its not an easy DIY?

cutting that stuff. is HARD
it's VERY fragile, and can fracture EASY
you get my drift
i used some to use as a windows internally in my house, and you have to do things slowly,
so just take ya time,

It will bend no probs on that size..
I bought a sheet of it myself to make some sparkplug covers for the gti-r.
It is a bit tricky to cut, I used a jigsaw. You do need to go slow though as it welds itself back up with the heat if you go too fast.

is this the windscreen you want replacing?
if so you must not use plastic/perspex etc as a windscreen, far too dangerous and i'm pretty sure it's ilegal for that very reason..
can you imagine the carnage if you had a bird strike, not to mention the window "coming in" at 100+mph!!!
**edit**
Just read it again, pretty sure you mean a side window if so just ignore all of the above!

That stuff from B+Q is pony mate, scratches like a bastard and is so shit to work with.
I made my sunroof with the stuff as Plastics 4 performance were too busy at the time i wanted.... usuall for me want it the day before..
If your able to wait a few days i would highly recomend gettin a sheet from the boys at P4P.
Like Lee said(cough cough Nash i mean) run some masking tape on the edge/area you want to cut out, this stops shattering and a little of the dust/melting.
Use a jigsaw with a fine blade and take your time goes through really quick...
P.s this isnt for your windscreen is it im presuming its your rear screen...

Polycarbonate I got can be used on surfaces (tables etc) and seems pretty good for not scratching easily.
