Escort van mk5 heater matrix
I;ve agread to fit my mates heater matrix next weekend for him, never done one on the mk5, is it a dash in or out job, have not had a chance to look at it yet?

You have to unbolt the dash and pull it away from the bulkhead but you don't have to take the dash out completely to sort it. Depending on the year also, some have a bracket in front of the heater box that you have to remove. Hope this helps.

This will cheer you up no end then, taking the dash out is the easy part, it's getting to the pipes under the bonnet thats the real joy. You will be cursing those beers lol.
