Got a new lock set changed the ignitiion barrel now how do i programme my new keys so i can start the bastard ...................any help appreciated or is this a main dealer job

Do you have a red master key ?

yes mate got a red master

 

turn ign switch to 1 four times within 8 seconds
clock led iluminates for 5 seconds
remove master key while iluminated

insert key to be programmed
turn to position 1
led goes out for 2 secs then iluminates again
repeat within 30 seconds to any other keys to be programmed
to exit programming mode turn to position 2 and wait for 30 seconds


if this dosent work it says there is another way to try too let me know

The above should work, just hold the master key, next to the cowling, or better still take cowling off, as if I understand it you will not be able to insert it and turn as wrong key now with lock change.
Red masters can be reset at dealers if this does not work, I had one red key supplied and programmed, + two black keys, all in about Ł60 from memory.
